Used robot inventory CSV template
Prepare one row per robot unit, preserve its exact identity and leave unsupported specifications blank. This free header-only template matches the IRX inventory preview and contains no robots offered for sale.
What belongs in each field?
- original_model_text
- Required by the preview. Preserve the full original designation; do not replace an uncertain variant with a guessed model.
- manufacturer, model
- Keep the brand and exact model in separate columns. Missing manufacturer information is flagged for review.
- payload_kg, reach_mm
- Use positive numbers in kilograms and millimetres. Leave missing values blank. Do not enter zero or infer a specification from a similar model.
- condition, year
- Condition accepts new, used, refurbished or unknown. A refurbishment label is the seller's description, not evidence of work performed. Use a documented year or leave it blank.
- controller, mounting
- Keep the exact controller generation and known mounting configuration. Describe included options and accessories separately.
- country_code, location
- Use a two-letter country code, for example GB or CA, and the actual unit location. These fields do not establish delivery coverage.
- price, currency
- A supplied price needs a three-letter currency such as EUR, GBP, USD or CAD. Leave an unknown price blank; explain inclusions and tax basis in the description or quotation.
- applications, description
- Separate application tags with | as in material handling|palletizing. Use the description for known scope, exclusions and questions; a tag is not application approval.
Prepare the file in five steps
- Download the empty template and keep its column names. Use one row for each individual unit, even when multiple units share a model.
- Copy the original model designation from your records. Check variant suffixes and the controller against unit-specific evidence.
- Enter known numeric specifications in the column's units. A missing value remains blank. Keep the evidence and its date with your own inventory records.
- Export as a comma-separated UTF-8 CSV. Spreadsheet software normally quotes descriptions containing commas. Keep application tags separated by a vertical bar.
- Review the preview's errors and warnings before proceeding. Import review does not confirm ownership, condition, availability or permission to publish.
What does the preview check?
The current preview reads up to 100 data rows. It checks the original model field, numeric formats, positive payload and reach, permitted condition labels, country-code format and currency when a price is supplied. Missing payload, reach or manufacturer produces a warning rather than a fabricated value.
A row that passes these checks is not a verified commercial listing. Seller authorization, publication review and current unit information are separate steps. The public demonstration remains fictional.
Common preparation questions
Can I start with Excel?
Yes. The pilot includes a CSV/XLSX preview. This download is CSV so you can inspect the columns in a spreadsheet editor. Review the imported values before relying on them.
Should I put “unknown” in a numeric cell?
Leave the cell blank. Text in a numeric payload, reach or price field fails numeric validation. The preview displays missing specifications as unknown.
Does a spreadsheet replace dealer confirmation?
No. Confirm what is included, the actual unit's condition and whether it is still available. Use the buying checklist and RFQ worksheet for unresolved questions.
